Book a Therapy Consultation

If you’re thinking about starting therapy, a short consultation call can be the first step.

It gives you a chance to ask questions and talk a little about what’s bringing you here. Most of all, it gives you a feel of whether you can talk to me. Or if the vibe between us feels the right fit.

There’s no pressure to commit and decide on the day. You can have some time to think about it.

Why book a consultation?

The consultation is not a therapy session. It’s a relaxed 15 minute chat where you can explain what’s been going on for you and what support you might need. From there you can get a sense of if we can work together and I’ll let you know my availability for sessions.
If you decide to go ahead, we can arrange ongoing sessions at a time that works for you, either online or in person in Kilmarnock.

What to expect from the consultation.

It’s completely normal to feel unsure before starting therapy. You might feel like what you’re bringing is too much. Or you might feel that what you’re bringing is insignificant compared to other times in your life. You don’t need to have everything figures out

You don’t need to have everything figured out, and you don’t need to be in crisis.

If something in you is saying it might help to talk, that’s enough.

It’s normal to be apprehensive.
